RU Statistics dept golden jubilee event begins today

The Statistics department of Rajshahi University (RU) will celebrate its golden jubilee on the campus today with much enthusiasm and fanfare mood. The event will end tomorrow. On the occasion, the department has chalked out various programmes, including rally, raffle draw, orientation, football match and cultural soiree with the participation of present and former students, said the organisers at a press briefing on the campus yesterday. Planning Minister Air vice-marshal (retd) AK Khondakar is expected to inaugurate the programme as chief guest.
