Saleha Biswas, mother of The Daily Star Manikganj correspondent
Zahangir Alam Biswas, passed away at her residence in Bewtha of the town yesterday at the age of 55.
She had been suffering from diabetes. She left behind her husband, four sons, and one daughter to mourn her death.
Manikganj Municipality Mayor Md Ramzan Ali, Press Club President AFM Nurtaz Alam Bahar, General Secretary Golam Sarwar Sanu, Manikganj Sangbadik Samity President Sabbirul Islam Sabu, and General Secretary Biplob Chakraborty expressed deep shock at her death.
