Death anniversary
Today is the 14th death anniversary of journalist Munshi Mohiuddin, a well-known artiste and playwright.
He passed away in 1997 in the capital due to cancer.
Mohiuddin received national award as best playwright in 1991.
He directed “Titas Ekti Nadir Naam” with Rithik Kumar Ghotok in 1972.
On the occasion, milad mahfil and special prayers will be held at Faridpur Muslim Mission after Zohr prayers and another doa mahfil will be held at Arambagh orphanage in Faridpur town after Asr prayers.
His family members will also hold qurankhwani and doa mahfil at Basabo in Dhaka.
Relatives and well-wishers are requested to attend the programme and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
