Govt working to digitise country
Says A K Khandker
Planning Minister Air Vice Marshal (Retd) A K Khandker yesterday said the government is working relentlessly to build a digital Bangladesh to help rid the country of all problems.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a two-day centenary celebration of Dhobakhola High School of Bera upazila in the district, the minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is sincere to improve the education system in the country.
The prime minister, he said, has formed a trust for the benefits of the meritorious students.
He said the fund provides financial help to the talented students intending to study abroad.
Prof Dr Nurul Alam chaired the programme and Bera upazila Chairman Azizur Rahman, Managing Director of National Academy for Education Management (Naem) Prof Shamsur Rahman Awal Molla addressed it.
