Trader robbed of Tk 7.85 lakh
Muggers looted Tk 7.85 lakh from a trader in front of Bose Brothers in Nandan Kanan area under Kotwali Police Station in the port city on Monday.
Police said a gang of four muggers snatched the money Md Tipu, a proprietor of Marine Fish Enterprise, when he was going to his workplace after withdrawing the money from a bank around 4:00pm. The muggers fled the scene in a CNG-run autorickshaw immediately after the incident.
