Motahar Ali
Sayed Motahar Ali, one of the organisers of the liberation war and former president of Natore town unit of Awami League, passed away at his Kanaikhali residence in Sadar upazila on Wednesday night due to old age complications at the age of 90.
He left behind his wife, four sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at the central graveyard in the district town with state honour following a namaz-e-janaza held on the central Eidgah premises yesterday morning.
Leaders of Natore district Awami League, Natore district Muktijoddha Sangsad and other political parties condoled his death.
