Book on liberation war unveiled
A book titled “From Protest to Freedom: The Birth of Bangladesh” written by Mokerrom Hossain, a professor of Virginia State University, was launched at Liberation War Museum in the city on Thursday.
With nine chapters, the 274-page book contains the history of the liberation war of Bangladesh.
National Professor AF Salahuddin Ahmed, author of the book Mokerrom Hossain, director of Shahitya Prakash Mofidul Hoque, Prof Mahmud Shah Qureshi, Fazle Rabbi, historian Shahriar ZR Iqbal and former secretary Shohel Ahmed Chowdhury spoke at the event.
