Bangladesh Premier League brings great news for Bangladesh cricket, as a big number of overseas players are going to take part in this mega event. This foreign players' list also includes some retired legends like Muttiah Muralidharan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Hershell Gibbs and so on. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for the Bangladeshi cricket fans to witness this veterans performing live. But it is a matter of disappointment for us that the ticket price is extremely high. The lowest ticket price is Tk.500/-(general gallery), while the lowest price of ticket was Tk. 200/- in the World Cup 2011. According to newspaper reports, BCB officials have said that the tickets are pricey because a lot of Bollywood actors-actresses will be present at the event and musical shows will be held during the matches. It is important to mention that no Indian players will take part in this event. So, why should we pay extra money to watch those Indian movie stars? We would love to watch cricket in the stadium, but not the Bollywood stars. Moreover, Indian BSF is killing and torturing Bangladeshis almost every day. So why should we invite Indian movie stars to our country? We would like to request BCB to focus on our cricket. And please reduce the ticket price and allow us to enjoy cricket.
