USTC medicine faculty reunion begins
The first reunion of medicine faculty of University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC) began in the port city yesterday.
On the occasion, a two-day long festival titled 'Let us rejoice the root of amity' has been arranged which includes seminar, discussion, cultural programme, and raffle draw.
Established in 1989, the university graduated around 1,700 medical students who are contributing to the health sector of the country, said Prof Dr Mohammad Rezaul Karim, dean of the medicine faculty. At present, around 2,000 students from home and abroad are studying in the faculty.
