Begum Rashida
Begum Rashida Chowdhury, mother of a USA expatriate Prof Chowdhury Hafijul Ahsan, passed away yesterday at the age of 74. She was buried in a graveyard of Bagerhat town after namaz-e-janaza at court mosque, adjacent to her residence, in the town, said a press release. Rashida's qulkhwani will be held on Wednesday after Zohr prayers at the mosque.
