Youth dies under train
A youth was crushed under a train at Habla level crossing in Basail upazila yesterday.
The deceased, Razib Khan, 25, son of Khorshed Ali of Kazirapara village of the upazila, was an expatriate in Saudi Arabia. He came home 22 days ago on a five-month leave.
Witnesses said the train crushed Razib when he was crossing the track on his motorcycle around 11:30am. He died on the spot.
Locals said there has been no gateman at the level crossing for long.
Family members took the body to house.
