Reshuffle in CMP
Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) transferred eight police inspectors on Thursday.
CMP source said Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station; Rafiqul Islam, OC of Double Mooring Police Station; Mafiz Uddin, inspector of Special Branch of CMP; and Alamgir Hossain, inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Police Station; were made officers-in charge of Double Mooring, Kotwali, Khulshi and Panchlaish police stations respectively.
OC of Khulshi Police Station, Abu Zafar Md Omar Faruk, was made inspector of Special Branch, CMP; Inspector of Detective Branch (north), Sawdip Kumar Dus, was made inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Police Station; Inspector of Detective Branch (port), Mohammed Alamgir, was made inspector (investigation) of Halishahar Police Station; and OC of Panchlaish Police Station, Ismail Hossain, was made inspector of Detective Branch (port).
