Present history before new generation
Afsarul Ameen urges writers
Primary and Mass Education Minister Afsarul Ameen yesterday urged the writers to present history of our Liberation War before the new generation.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a publication ceremony of “Dukher Katha Sukher Katha,” an autobiography of SM Shahab Uddin at Well Park Residence in the port city.
The minister said the writers should write against the fundamentalism and fanaticism so that our next generation can grow up as a liberal person.
Dr Sujata Bhattacharjee, a research associate of Jadabpur University in India, said there is no country in the world where people had to sacrifice their lives for their mother language.
