‘Free CU from terrorism’
Pragatisheel Chhatra Jote, an alliance of progressive students of Chittagong University (CU), placed its eight-point demand before a liaison committee yesterday
The demands include making the campus free from terrorism, occupation and communalism.
A total of 17 leaders and activists of the alliance raised the demands at a meeting with the 10-member liaison committee at the CU Teachers' Club.
They urged the authorities to create a democratic environment on the campus for all student organisations.
