Three held with firearm in Ctg
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested three persons with a foreign pistol and bullets in BRTC bus station area in the port city yesterday.
The arrested were identified as Towfiq Ahmed, 40, Alamgir Alam, 37, and Anwar Hossain, 35.
On information, a team from Rab-7 raided the area at around 1:45pm and arrested the three from a microbus.
The Rab personnel recovered a USA made automatic pistol and seven rounds of bullets from their possession, said SM Nurul Huda, assistant director of Rab-7.
