The Forest Department has sent a wading bird, locally known as Madan Taak, to Bangabandhu Safari Park in Gazipur, says a press release. Green Watch, a non-government organisation, recovered the Lesser Adjutant stork from Manirampur, Jessore on Sunday with some injury marks on its body. The storks make nests on trees near wetlands and have a big and strong bill. The large birds with black wings, white breast, and a red mark on its head have become rare.
