Art exhibition on Women's Day
Galleri Kaya has organised an art exhibition in the city to mark International Women's Day.
Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni inaugurated the exhibition at the gallery in Uttara yesterday.
The exhibition, titled “Freedom in Creativity”, is showcasing 34 paintings and four sculptures of17 women artists of Bangladesh.
The artists are Tahera Chowdhury, Nazli Laila Monsur, Saeeda Kamal, Farida Zaman, Naima Haque, Tandra Das, Masuda Kazi, Ivy Zaman, Dilara Begum Joly, Fareha Zeba, Atia Islam Anne, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Nasima Haque Mitu, Tayeba Begum Lipi, Shulekha Chaudhury, Nazia Andalib Preema and Maksuda Iqbal Nipa.
The exhibition will continue till March 19 everyday from 11:00am to 7:30pm.
