Book on Manik Chy launched
A book on the biography of Manik Chowdhury, a freedom fighter and a prominent politician of Chittagong, was launched in the port city yesterday.
The book titled, “Manik Chowdhury: Swadhinata Sangramer Bismrita Smarak” edited by journalist Nasir Uddin Chowdhury was unveiled at Chittagong Press Club.
Former Chittagong City Corporation mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Anwarul Azim Arif and Prothom Alo resident Editor Abul Momen also spoke.
