Boy drowns in drain
An eight-month-old boy drowned in a drain in Sahednagar area of the district town on Sunday noon. The victim is Shahriar, son of Nurul Islam of the area. Locals said the incident happened when the victim's mother Khushi Begum went inside the house to bring a towel to wipe the boy after bathing at the courtyard at noon.
