2 bodies recovered in Ctg
A man was shot dead and two people, including a woman, were found dead in Chittagong yesterday.
Our Ctg correspondent reports: A gang of armed robbers, during a robbery, shot Abdul Monaf, 48, at Banpukur Bazar of Chunati in Lohagara upazila.
Lohagara police said the gang broke open the doors of the shops at the Bazar at around 1:30am and shot Monaf, leaving him dead when he reached the spot hearing noise.
In another incident, police recovered the body, wearing trouser and T-shirt, of an unidentified youth, aged around 30, from a water reservoir of an under-construction building at Agrabad in the port city yesterday.
Double-Mooring police said a gang of miscreants might kill him four or five days ago and they left him in the reservoir.
Yet another incident, police recovered the body of Phul Banu, 50, wife of Abu Khan, of Barisal, from Achargona in Bhujpur at around 1:00am.
Bhujpur police said she had been missing since April 5 after coming to Chittagong.
