One dies in Buriganga boat capsize
A man drowned as a boat capsized in the Buriganga river during a heavy storm in Keraniganj upazila early yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Majir Uddin, 38 of Hukkapatti village in Zinjira union.
Police said Majir went missing as the boat capsized while crossing the river during the storm.
The boat started journey for Thanar Ghat from Mitford Balughat.
Locals found Majir's body in Mandail area early in the morning and informed the police.
Later, Nasir Uddin, elder brother of the victim, collected his body from the police.
