Cooperation among OIC states stressed
Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad held talks with Iranian Cultural Affairs Minister Sayed Mohammad Hosseini in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, on the sideline of 9th session of Islamic conference of information ministers on Saturday.
They discussed matters of mutual interests and exchanged views on the strengthening of Islamic Ummah.
Azad emphasised cooperation among the member countries of the Organisation of the Islamic Countries (OIC) under the purview of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Isesco) for the development of science and technology.
He reiterated Bangladesh's stand for peaceful use of nuclear energy.
