Two women held with cannabis
Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested two women and seized two kilograms of cannabis from their possession in the port city on Sunday.
The arrestees were Nur Khatun, 45 and Fatema, 43, of Cox's Bazar and Teknaf.
Acting on a tip-off, a DB team conducted a special drive in Station Road area in front of old rail station and arrested the two women with cannabis.
A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
