Fines for using power illegally in Chittagong
A mobile court fined Tk 20,000 to an eatery and two persons in the port city yesterday for using electricity without permission, said a press release.
The court with BSTI and Rab men led by District Administration Executive Magistrate Gautam Baroi conducted the drive at Mohara under Chandgaon Police Station from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
The team found eatery, Nur Hotel, and two residents--Mortaza Ali and Sekandar Mia using electricity connection illegally.
The court fined Nur Hotel Tk 10,000 and Tk 5,000 each to Mortaza and Sekandar.
