Chehlum of Shawkat Jamil tomorrow
Chehlum of Shawkat Jamil, former senior photojournalist at The Daily Star, will be held tomorrow, Friday. On the occasion, a doa mahfil will be held at Jamil's ancestral home at Kathpatti Road in Barisal sadar after Juma prayers. Relatives, friends, and well-wishers have been requested to attend the doa mahfil. Jamil passed away on March 13, 2012.
