Institute of Health Technology closed over chaos
The Institute of Health Technology (IHT) Chittagong was closed for indefinite period as some students of the institute were in turmoil in the port city yesterday.
Centring watching TV, some students of first and second year of the institute crossed words with one another, triggering a chaos among them on the campus in the morning, sources said.
IHT Principal Mohammed Ali Akbar said they declared the institute closed to avert further untoward incident and asked the residential students to leave their halls by 2:00pm.
Meanwhile, Sitakunda police rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control.
