4 killed in road crashes
Four people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Magura and Thakurgaon early Wednesday and yesterday.
Our Magura correspondent reports: Three day labourers were killed and three others injured when a truck fell into a ditch beside the road at Rainagar in Sreepur upazila early yesterday.
The deceased were Ibrahim Mia, 20, Abdul Mannan, 25, and Sajib Mia of Rajdharpur village in the upazila.
The injured were undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent says: A lawyer was killed as a rickshaw hit him at Panimachpukuri village in sadar upazila of Panchagarh on Wednesday evening.
Rezaul Islam, 32, son of Abdur Rahaman of Bangram village of the upazila, died at Panchagarh Sadar Hospital on arrival.
