Govt's men behind missing of Ilias Ali
Blames Minu
BNP joint secretary general Mizanur Rahman Minu yesterday said investigations into the incidents like missing of Ilias Ali and murder of journalist couple Sagor Sarowar and Meherun Runi are progressing slowly as the government's men are behind these incidents.
“Someone close to the government must be behind these incidents, and so, the government is taking time to divert investigations to conceal the real culprits,” said Minu, also Rajshahi city unit BNP president.
Minu, also former mayor and lawmaker, was addressing a rally at Bhubon Mohon Park in the city protesting "disappearance" of Ilias Ali.
He called upon the people to remain united and join the upcoming protest programmes to "protect people from this corrupt regime."
