Mother-in-law urges PM to find Ilias Ali
The mother-in-law of missing BNP leader Ilias Ali yesterday requested the prime minister to track Ilias down and return him considering the future of his underage children.
“We shall be grateful to her (prime minister) for the rest of our life if she gives back Ilias”, Mahfuza Khatun said at a press conference here.
“I don't understand politics. I am requesting the prime minister through local journalists to rescue my beloved daughter's husband only out of my emotion and love”, she said in tears.
The press conference was held at the residence of Magura district unit BNP president Kabir Murad in Parnanduali area of Magura town. Murad and Ilias's brother-in-law Anjum Hasan Sumon, among others, were present at the programme.
BNP Organising Secretary (Sylhet Division) M Ilias Ali, 51, along with his driver Ansar Ali went missing from the capital's Mahakhali at the midnight of April 17.
