Rickshaw-puller found dead in capital
Police recovered the body of a rickshaw-puller at Agargaon in the capital yesterday.
The deceased was Ripon Mia, 30, son of Manik Mia of Agargaon slum.
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police said they recovered the body from a canal in the area at about 6:30am. Later, they sent it to Dhaka Medical Collage Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police also recovered a rickshaw on the bank of the canal and Ripon's family members identified it.
The cause behind his death could not be found out immediately, said the police.
