One killed, 8 injured in road crashes
One person was killed and eight others were injured in separate road accidents in Brahmanbaria and Chittagong yesterday.
Our Brahmanbaria correspondent reports: Nahid Babu, 20, son of Nurul Islam died and two others were injured when truck dashed a motorbike from the opposite direction on Brahmanbaria-Akhaura road at Chinair village in the sadar upazila yesterday.
The injured were admitted to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital.
In Chittagong, two passenger buses collided head-on on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway, in Andurhat area under Patiya Police Station in the port city at around 2:00pm yesterday, leaving six people injured.
The injured were rushed to Patiya Hospital.
