800 Yaba tablets seized: 3 arrested
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested three drug peddlers and seized around 800 pieces of Yaba tablets worth about Tk 3.20 lakh in Cox's Bazar and Chittagong on Friday.
The arrestees were Mohammed Hossain, 26, and Syed Nur Hossain, 20, hailing from Cox's Bazar and Md Rubel, 20, from Comilla.
Rab arrested Hossain and Nur with 500 pieces of Yaba tablets from Sonapara Bazar area under Ukhia Police Station in Cox's Bazar, said a press release.
In another drive, a team of Rab-7 arrested Rubel red handed and seized 298 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession at a shop in Abu Jafar Road area under Bakalia Police Station.
