Attack on journalist in capital
Journalist Parvez Khan, former president of Bangladesh Crime Reporters' Association (CRAB), and his driver were attacked by some armed people over parking his car at the capital's Green Road yesterday.
Police arrested two persons on charges of attack on Parvez, also a special correspondent of the daily Kalerkantho, and his driver Mohammad Sohel, said Kalabagan Police Station Sub-Inspector Mohammad Asgar Ali.
The arrested are Foyez Ahmmed Sabuj, 46, a shrimp exporter, of Green Road area and his associate Mohammad Selim, 30.
