Mojaheed attends brother's janaza on parole

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, who is facing war crimes charges, yesterday took part in his brother's namaz-e-janaza, who died on Friday, in a parole for six hours. After the home ministry approved his parole, the Jamaat leader walked out of Narayanganj district jail at around 3:30pm and went to his Uttara residence in the capital at around 5:00pm by a microbus escorted by police. His brother Ali Ashraf Mohammad Shoyaed, 56, a Faridpur district correspondent of the daily Sangram, died on Friday while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
