Ctg housing fair begins on May 2

A four-day housing fair begins at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in Chittagong city on May 2. Prantick Communication, an event management company, is organising the “Prantick Real Estate Fair 2012” for the 5th time with the slogan, “Ww want a green earth to live in”. Admission is free and the opening hours are 10:00am-8:00pm. Some 60 stalls have been erected by 40 real estate companies to present their offers. Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Manjur Alam will inaugurate the fair while Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek will be the special guest. The country's development process is completely Dhaka-centric and that is why their company aims at developing Chittagong's housing trends and gradually that of the rest of the country, said Prantick Communication Chief Executive Mehedi Hasan. Announcing the launching at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club yesterday, he said the participating real estate companies will offer modern structures at discounted prices. A “Legion Mehedi and Facial Fest” for women and children will also run alongside the fair, followed by a painting competition for children. Environment and Forest Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud and Chittagong Development Authority Chairman Abdus Salam will be the chief and special guests respectively at the closing ceremony.
