Abdur Rashid
Today is the eighth death anniversary of Abdur Rashid, a retired senior assistant police commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). On the day in 2004, he died at the age of 83, said a press release. He held important positions in the police department in his 34-year service. He played a vital role in forming and structuring the DMP during the post-independence period.
