Sust students, teachers donate blood
Students, teachers and staff of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) donated 63 bags of blood on the campus in Sylhet yesterday.
KIN, a voluntary organisation which helps to provide emergency blood, with Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital unit of Sandhani, organised the daylong blood donation campaign at Arjuntala from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
KIN also collected donations for Niaz Morshed, a post-graduate student of pharmacy department of Noakhali Science and Technology University suffering from leukemia.
Around Tk 70 lakh is needed for the treatment of Niaz, currently hospitalised in India.
