'Higher education lacks quality'
There are many problems in the country's higher education system and its quality, said Chittagong University (CU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Anwarul Azim Arif.
He said this while inaugurating a four-day-long “Research methodology and scholarly journal publications” workshop at CU yesterday.
Prof Arif said, “Teachers should grab the opportunities that the government has created for developing the higher education system and research works by taking loan from the World Bank.”
The workshop was organised by the Department of Marketing Studies and International Marketing and supervised by the University Grants Commission.
