Fake physician fined
A mobile court fined a fake doctor Tk 1 lakh for illegally practicing and prescribing medicines for the patients in the port city yesterday.
The mobile court, led by Chittagong District Administration Executing Magistrate Zuthika Sarkar, in a drive at Roufabad under Bayzid Police Station, fined Jaman Ajad, owner of Popi Pharmacy, on the charge, said a press release.
It also ordered him to shut his chamber instantly and appoint a registered doctor within seven days.
