Female cops' Ctg unit formed
Bangladesh Police Women's Network, an association of the country's female police members, formed its divisional executive committee of Chittagong yesterday.
The committee was constituted at a views exchange meeting between female police of Chittagong and Bangladesh Police Women's Executive Committee, says a press release.
During the meeting at the city's Dampara Police Training School, the women police shared their views on different issues and demanded proper evaluation based on their performance.
Rowshan Ara Begum, commandant of detective training school of Bangladesh Police and chairman of the police women's network, presided over the programme.
Also present on the occasion were Md Shafiul Isalm, commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, and Md Habibur Rahman, superintendent of police, Railway Range, Chittagong.
