Korea to train 12 officers in rural dev
Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) will train 12 Bangladeshi officials in rural development strategies in Korea from May 17 to June 2, says a press release.
The training is aimed at enhancing the officials' knowledge on policy, strategy and methodology of rural and social capital development.
Among the participants, six officials are from Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) and another six from Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD).
They have been chosen through a competitive selection process.
Bok-Hee Kim, resident representative of Koica, congratulated the participants at their pre-departure orientation programme held at Korean Embassy on May 14.
