Valuables worth Tk 10 lakh looted in Biswanath
Armed robbers looted valuables worth Tk 10 lakh from the house of an expatriate at village Chhota Khurma in Biswanath upazila early yesterday.
The miscreants escaped the scene firing two blank shot when neighbours tried to capture them.
Around 3:00am, a gang of 15 robbers broke into the house of Akaddas Ali, an expatriate in the UK, looted the valuables, including 12 toals of gold ornament.
Police visited the house, and filing of a case was underway.
