80,000 books for N'ganj schools
Eighty educational institutions in Narayanganj received books from Subornogram Foundation with support from The Asia Foundation at a programme yesterday.
Eighty thousand books were distributed among 80 different educational institutions.
Kobi Shahid Kaiser, CEO of Subornogram foundation, presided over the programme.
Chief guest Selina Hayat Ivy, mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation, and special guest Saima Anwar, deputy country representative, The Asia Foundation, spoke on the occasion.
