Bahauddin's qulkhwani today
Qulkhwani of Bahauddin Choudhury, a language movement veteran, will be held at the Jatiya Press Club auditorium after Asr prayers today. His relatives, friends, all members of the Press Club and well-wishers are requested to attend the programme, says a press release. Bahauddin Choudhury, former information secretary and also a life-long member of the Press Club died in a hospital in the capital on May 17. He played a very significant role in realising the historic Six-Point demand in 1966. He had also worked in some newspapers and magazines, including the Sangbad, the Morning Sun, the Barta of Rajshahi, the Azad, the Dinkal and the Lal Sabuj.
