400 Yaba tablets seized, 2 held
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two drug peddlers and seized 400 pieces of Yaba tablets from their possession in the port city on Monday night.
The arrestees were Nikkon Barua, 25, and Abhijit Barua, 23.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-7 arrested them with the Yaba tablets worth around Tk 1.6 lakh in front of a telecom shop at Bahir Signal Intersection under Chandgaon Police Station at around 10:00pm, said a press release.
