Chhatra Union's 60th anniversary celebration tomorrow
The 60th founding anniversary celebration programme of Bangladesh Chhatra Union will be held tomorrow (Friday) at Muslim Hall in the port city.
Belal Mohammed, one of the founders of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendro, will inaugurate the programme.
On the occasion, a discussion will be held at 5:00pm where Pankaj Bhattacharya, leader of Gonoforum, Mujahidul Islam Selim, secretary general of Bangladesh Communist Party, MM Akash, professor of Dhaka University, and Prof Mahfuza Khanom will be present. A cultural event will be held at 7:00pm.
Ashok Saha, convener of the 60th founding anniversary celebration committee, announced the programme details at a news conference at Chittagong Press Club yesterday.
