Two crushed under trains
Two people, including a beggar, were crushed under trains in separate incidents in the sadar upazila of the district yesterday morning.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.
Dinajpur police said a passenger died instantly as he went under Dinajpur-bound running train, Kanchan Express, while he was getting down from it at Dinajpur Satellite Town in the upazila.
In another accident, a Parbatipur-bound train ran over a beggar in Kawgaon area at around 10:00am while he was crossing the railway track, killing him on the spot, said police.
