Obituary
Nur Mohammad, a freedom fighter and labour leader, passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 63.
He left behind his wife, one son, five daughters, a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held after Maghrib prayers on Munsi Para Mosque premises at Bandar.
He was buried in his family graveyard at Munsi Para in Chittagong.
Nur, central president of Jatiya Sramik Jote, workers' wing of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), was also the CBA president of Chittagong Steel Mills.
