Obituary
Mohammad Liakat Ali, headmaster of Bhatiary Haji Tobarak Ali Chowdhury High School in Sitakunda, passed away due to cardiac arrest yesterday at the age of 57.
He left behind his two sons, wife, thousands of pupils and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held on the school premises.
He was laid to rest in his family graveyard in Jahanabad area of the upazila after Zohr prayers following the second namaz-e-janaza at Shahjahani Shah Shrine.
Liakat had been serving the school as the headmaster for the last 20 years.
