Death anniversary
Today is the 39th death anniversary of AFM Nurul Haque Hawlader, former lawmaker and an organiser of the War of Liberation, said a press release. Nurul Haque was killed on this day in 1973 at his residence in Shaldha at Naria upazila in Shariatpur district. Shaheed Sangshad Shadasha Nurul Haque Foundation will organise Quran recitation, a milad mahfil, discussion and a destitute feeding programme to mark the day. Amra Muktijuddhar Shantan will also organise a milad mahfil and discussion on the occasion.
